Discoverer is Oracle’s database ad-hoc query and reporting tool which provides all of the flexibility you require to perform information management.

Discoverer has an ‘End User Layer’, which translates the database information into user-friendly business terms. This End User Layer needs to be defined as part of the implementation effort. This requires a thorough knowledge of the Oracle Applications database tables and data structures and can be a time consuming and costly exercise.

The ASG Discoverer Reporting solution provides a pre-defined Discoverer End User Layer for Oracle Applications. This End User Layer is designed for Australia and incorporates generic business areas as well as providing standard workbooks which allow you to perform financial reporting and analysis across a number of Oracle Financials Application modules.

This solution provides an out-of-the-box Discoverer implementation for your Oracle Applications, and it can be further customised to meet your specific organisation requirements. The following is a sample of the General Ledger solution.
